Louie D. Jiles teaches all personal lessons and group classes. Mr. Jiles began his martial arts training in Atlanta in 1973, studying Tracy's Kenpo Karate at a local studio.

Mr. Jiles instructors were Darryl Escalante and Frank Wood. Mr. Escalante owned a Tracy's System of Kenpo Karate franchise in Atlanta. Mr. Escalante was taught and promoted to Shodan by Al Tracy.

Louie Jiles was recommended for his Shodan by Mr. Escalante which is on file at Tracy's International Headquarters (OB-0095).

Mr. Jiles became an instructor at the Marietta Branch of the Tracy's Kenpo Karate Studio and participated in seminars taught by Mr. Joe Lewis on Jeet Kune Do and its applications to tournament competitions and street fighting.

Mr. Escalante eventually sold the studio to Mr. Wood and Mr. Jiles became the head instructor there.

From the mid-seventies to the early eighties, Mr. Jiles was a competition fighter participating in both point and full-contact tournaments.

Today Mr. Jiles is not only teaching but is continuing his training in the Tracy's System of Kenpo Karate.
